Mother’s Day.
Roorkee-Mother’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at Swami Dayanand Saraswati School today. Mothers of students from Lower Kindergarten (LKG) and Upper Kindergarten (UKG) were specially invited to participate in the celebration.
On this occasion, a card-making competition was organized for the students. The children enthusiastically prepared beautiful handmade cards for their mothers, expressing their love, gratitude, and affection. The creativity and innocence reflected in the cards captivated everyone present.
Students of Classes 5, 6, 7, and 8 presented heartfelt poetry recitations dedicated to mothers, while students of Class 9 mesmerized the audience with a graceful dance performance.
Addressing the gathering, the school Principal, Girish Chandra Uniyal shared his thoughts on women’s empowerment and highlighted the invaluable role of mothers in society. He stated that mothers form the strongest foundation of society and play a vital role in nurturing values and shaping the future of children.
Extending his heartfelt wishes on Mother’s Day, he appreciated the unconditional love, sacrifices, and dedication of mothers and acknowledged their continuous efforts toward securing a bright future for their children.
The entire school campus resonated with happiness, enthusiasm, and emotional warmth throughout the event. Parents and students thoroughly enjoyed the program, making the celebration a memorable occasion for all.
